Getting Started in the Pipeline Discord Server
Welcome to Pipeline! We're so excited to have you in the community!
The Discord server is where all the community action happens, from conversations with other creators, group training with the Pipeline staff, and awesome events. We look forward to seeing you there.
If you’ve used Discord before - skip to the section about linking your account below.
If this is your first time using Discord, this page will walk you through getting started and the basics of it.Creating an Account
The first thing you’ll need to do is create a Discord account. This is separate from your Pipeline account and can be used to join millions of communities (called ‘servers’) on almost any topic. Today thought we’re getting you into the best community on Discord - ours!
- Follow this link to create an account: https://discord.com/register
- Once you’ve created an account it may ask you to verify your email address
Accessing Discord
Discord has a mobile app, desktop app, or web experience that you can use.
All the apps are available at: https://discord.com/download
The web experience can be found at: discord.com/app
We recommend using the app as it makes it easier to join live classes and get notified when someone messages you.
Linking Your Account
Once you have a Discord account, linking it to your Pipeline account will grant you access to the member features in the server, including our great partner discount program. To link the account:
- Navigate to https://www.pipeline.gg/account/connections
- Select “Connect Discord”
- Accept the authorization dialog.
- That’s it, you should be redirected back to the Pipeline site and it will show the account is linked.
